This service lets you shop for groceries from the comfort of your own home, using an app or a website. The service is accessible to screen readers and provides a great alternative to going to the store and trying to find what you want to buy! Let someone else pick the food for you and deliver it right to your door, and stay in contact with your shopper in case any questions arise. Find out in the pod how the app works when using an iPhone with VoiceOver, and decide whether it might be a good solution for you to let you avoid the dreaded weekly shop!

In this exciting episode of TEC Talk Live, Luke and Cory, assistive technology specialists at Vision Forward, take a look at the Louie app. This app was designed by a gentleman named Pramit, who is himself visually impaired, and gives Android users better access to certain apps using only their voices. There is much more access to apps such as contacts, calls, YouTube, Whatsapp and Uber, and the voice interface is very easy to use. If you know someone who struggles using their phone due to vision loss, and they aren't able to learn screen reader use, then Louie could be just the app for them!
